Brenton was born and raised in Melbourne, moving to Canberra to pursue new opportunities after obtaining his Masters in Osteopathy from Victoria University.
Proficient in treating all ailments, Brenton has a special interest in working with patients who suffer from neck and shoulder pain, headaches, chronic jaw clenching, and low back pain. He believes firmly in taking a person-centred approach to care, designing treatment plans specific to individuals’ health and lifestyle needs.
His holistic approach often combines a variety of manual therapy techniques including soft and deep-tissue massage, spinal adjustments/manipulation, muscle and myofascial release techniques, dry needling, and cupping with home or work-based strategies (stretches, ergonomic solutions and/or exercises). He strives to implement the most efficient management plan for long-term relief, supporting patients to ultimately achieve self-management.
Whilst treating in a clinical environment is Brenton’s passion, he is a keen athlete attaining both State Representation in Basketball and international representation for Victorian School teams in New Zealand. This interest has led him to tour Adelaide and Melbourne for the National Netball Championships with Tasmania Netball Association as Head Trainer, overlooking their senior men, mixed senior and under 17 boys state teams.
When he’s not in the clinic or on the court, you can often find him on a stand-up paddle board on the river or exploring the local food markets.
Brenton is also fully trained in office ergonomic risk assessments and can provide assessments on behalf of Corporate Work Health Australia.
