Dr Zuzana Meskova (Osteopath)

Bachelor Clinical Sciences
Master of Osteopathic Medicine

Zuzana hails from the far north NSW coast, with a degree in Clinical Sciences and a Master of Osteopathic Medicine from Southern Cross University. With a background in massage and yoga teaching, Zuzana found Osteopathy while navigating health challenges of her own, and experienced first-hand the incredible innate healing power of the body when it is given the right conditions to thrive. The holistic approach of Osteopathy played a key role in her return to optimal function and wellness, and she found her calling.

Zuzana is a mother to her beautiful daughter, who is her greatest teacher. Her clinical interests include all aspects of women’s health, including pregnancy and post-partum care, babies and children of all ages, hypermobility, vertigo/BPPV, migraines, headaches, neck and jaw pain, low back pain, as well as chronic conditions.

Delivering evidence-informed, patient-centred, holistic care with a passion to dig deeper to find the true cause of the issue, Zuzana employs a diverse range of techniques such as balanced ligamentous and membranous techniques, myofascial and positional release, visceral techniques, osteopathy in the cranial field and biodynamic craniosacral approaches. Whilst she priorities a gentle, more indirect approach to work in harmony with the body to encourage self-healing and the return of the body to a state of optimal function of the whole, she also employs more direct techniques as indicated.

Zuzana is also a fully qualified yoga teacher with over 12 years of experience teaching students and training yoga teachers, having had owned and operated her own yoga studio in the NSW Northern rivers region for 7 years. She has completed additional training in biodynamics and osteopathy in the cranial field.

Outside of the clinic Zuzana enjoys spending time with her daughter and friends, surfing, hiking in nature and cooking up a storm.
